Congratulations to the famous Ninja Consultants Noah and Erin. Continue your great work with the anime, manga reviews, guys!

Well! I guess we’re nearing the end of the year, when we’ll be focusing on last and overall grades and school in general. In these last days the new staff of The Japanese/Anime Culture Club would like to hear any feedback you have on the past year as a member of this club so that we may improve upon our experiences. As noted, the output in members has been lower than last year as well as the year before that. Revoutions will be formed to change this dramatically. Please enjoy the last days with us at the JACC and we look forward to see you again when school starts again.

Panels panels panels. Here some of Anime Culture Club are at Anime Boston! Post your experiences as you see fit! I Tanaka have been to Mike Toole’s Dubs Lost to Time panel which was great.

For those who preregistered with us, please pick your badge up Thursday the 21st at the Sheradon Hotel around the times of 4PM-10PM. Thanks for registering with us and enjoy Anime Boston 2009 @ Hynes Convention Center during the 22nd to 24th, as well as the Memorial Day weekend!!!

To say in short, March is seeming to be a drab day in the months of Spring. This is so because of the terrible, cold weather we’ve been having, right? Right, but that’s not all, is it? Case in point: Mr. Maddoff, the guy who decided, “what the heck, I’ll just whip-up a ponzi scheme and ruin the future of many innocent Americans in a time of economic crisis!”. This is obviously one of countless atrocities that were committed throughout the drab, soul-sucking season that is winter. But alas! There is the ever so uplifting spirit of Anime, which thrives in the heart of our JACC members and flourishes in the communities where beauty meets art.
For the winter and season of Spring:
- Movies
We’ve watched many movies in the past few months and I believe it’s about time I got to reviewing them. These movies include: Paprika, Tekkon Kinkreet, Spirited Away, and Princess Mononoke as well as others I have yet to remember.
So hold fast and stay strong, for the Japanese/Anime Culture Club will live on, in our hearts, on our backs.
Who the hell do you think we are?!

Kamina and Simon, that's who!

As it has become apparent, movies can tell a tale of what a whole series tries to. I hope you’ve enjoyed the movies we’ve shown this year and we’ll try keep showing mores well as the series promised to be shown. After, Anime Boston 2009 in May (22-24), we’ll try to hold a contest and holding serious meetings over staff and members. And finally, shows that we’ll be playing for you include:
-Cowboy Bebop, the Movie
-Hetalia Axis Powers
-Cromartie High School
-Skip Beat (if need be)
-And others

I cannot tell you how we, the staff of the Japanese/Anime Culture Club are proud of our anime community in their feats during the year of 2008. From the dubbing of the famous Gurren Lagann series to the successful release of new anime in Japan. This year has certainly been an eventful one, but none the less we should hope for even more in 2009. In short, Happy New Year to everyone, especially those faithful to the club!
